Mariehamn can boast with an excellent swimming centre; Mariebad, where you can swim indoors and outdoors, in pools and in real sea water. Mariebad is situated by the sea in Österhamn, a few hundred meters from Hotell Arkipelag and about one kilometre from Park Alandia Hotell.

The centre has, for example, an exercise pool with 25 meter lanes, an adventure pool with waterfall, streams, jets, a 55-meter water slide and a relax and spa department that offers many different treatments.
