We tailor-make and book golf packages for small or larger groups. No matter if your group contains of a 2-ball that wants a "taste" of golf-Åland, or a group of important customers  that are offered a golfing event out of the ordinary, we oblige with an optimal Åland package.

We offer the course package "Green Card on Åland" to those who want to spend some vacation days getting into the wonderful world of golf!

Monday (any Monday during the golfing season 2010).
         Ferry voyage (passenger deck ticket) from Sweden to Åland, alternatively
07.45 Stockholm - Mariehamn with Viking Line's m/s Isabella (arr. 14.10) or at
09.00 Kapellskär - Mariehamn with Viking Line's m/s Rosella (arr.  12.00) or at
10.00 Grisslehamn - Berghamn with Eckerö Linjen's m/s Eckerö (arr. 13.00).
         Arrival and and check-in at Hotell Arkipelag Åland's best hotel, in a class of 
         its own on the eastern harbour and centre of Mariehamn - or the smaller, more
         familiar Hotell Pommern in the centre of Mariehamn.
16.00 Meeting at the Åland Golf Club in Kastelholm (app. 23 km, 20 min. drive from 
         the hotels in Mariehamn) where headpro Chris Waldron and/or assistant pro Niklas
         Rajamäki takes care of new "students".
16.30 First training lesson at the ÅGC range (until 18.30) before the lesson is finished,
         you will get the exact time shedule for the next day.
         Accommodation in double or single rooms at Hotell Arkipelag (where all the rooms
         are with private balcony) or at Hotell Pommern.

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
07.00 Breakfast (served daily at 07-10.00) in the hotel's restaurant.
10.00 Training lessons 2, 3 & 4 at the ÅGK range, practice bunker & greens.
12.00 Lunch break (we recommend ÅGK's own popular restaurant).
13.00 Exercises/practising on your own (at ÅGC:s practising areas).
Evening: Theory- & regulation studies (on your own according to the instructor's directions).
         Accommodation night 2, 3 & 4.

Friday.
07.00 Breakfast (served 07-10.00) in the hotel's restaurant.
10.00 Final practising lesson plus test for the "green card". 
         Return voyage, alternatively
14.25 Mariehamn - Stockholm with Viking Line's m/s Amorella (arrival 18.55) or
18.30 Mariehamn - Kapellskär with Viking Line's m/s Rosella (arrival 19.30) or
18.30 Berghamn - Grisslehamn with Eckerö Linjen's m/s Eckerö (arrival 19.30).
         Opportunity for tax-free shopping in the ferry's shops.

Note that all times are local, Swedish time in Sweden and Finnish time in Åland!

The golf course/education does not require any prior knowledge or experience of golf and you don't need to bring your own equipment - the clubs, balls and theory material that are needed can be loaned from the instructors.

 Expected from the participants are:
- Normal physical & mental prerequisites; to be able to assimilate the education,
- engagement and a will to follow and act in accordance with the education that the
  instructor(s) give and
- suitable clothes & shoes (regular leisure clothes and sport shoes are fine).

Considering the drive between the hotels and ÅGK in Kastelholm (about 23 km, 20 min drive) we recommend that you take your own car to Åland - it is practical and it is more affordable than using a taxi during your stay here.

Additional fare for one car (which is booked at the same time as the golf package) onboard the ferry to/from Åland, depend on the route & date, EUR 12-24,00 per car & roundtrip.

For those who on the final day wish to play for a green card (book directly to ÅGC's course leader), there is an additional fee of EUR 50,00 which is paid directly to the ÅGC's pro shop.
